Red Alert 3 is here!

Ladies and gentlemen hold up your breath because the very long awaited Red Alert 3 has been released. I didn't have the chance to play it just yet, since i am very busy the last days with FIFA 2009 and my PS3 (drooool). I am tempted to download it just to have a look at it since i was unable to find a demo for it since i am dieing to see how it looks like.

I just hope that EA didnt do its normal wierd stuff with the game because apart from graphics, Red Alert was all about the gameplay. I really liked what i did see in the trailers and i am more than glad that they kept the cutscenes feature but YET we have to check the gameplay out. With Empire Total War coming up in 2009, EA and Red Alert 3 will face some very serious competition for the RTS of the year (although Total War is more a hybrid genre than a classic RTS game).

Anyway, i have checked the web a bit for reviews and i have posted on the forums the IGN's one with a 8.2 score, which i would say is very fair especially for IGN's hardcore reviewing system. I would only comment the music part since Klepacki is back, the composer of previous Red Alert themes, and since i did listen to the OST, i believe it is great. Now all we got to see is how it matches the gameplay.
